Intel is shortly planning to release their new line of Penryn-based mobile processors clocked at 3 Ghz and beyond which was until now an exclusive right of their desktop counterparts line. New processors will be part of new Montevina plus mobile platform successor to current Montevina which will combine new and enhanced wireless, video and HD technology in a single platform. Quite a lot of computing power if you ask me.
So far there has been no news whether Intel's new line of processors will include only dual or quad core CPU-s as well but according to their current quad-extreme line edition clocked at 2,53 Intel is very likely to continue their tradition of having extreme line CPU-s in new Montevina plus platform.
No words on definite price yet but Intel may be selling their new technology in notebooks under $1000 US.
