Nvidia releases graphics card drivers for notebooks

Laptops owner have long been in a disadvantage over desktop users when there was talk about video games. The reason was quite obvious. There was simply a major lack of quality video drivers for notebooks. Nvidia and ATI never released a single version of a laptop video driver, so owners had to rely on vendor's drivers which were not really optimized for games. Until now.

A few weeks ago Nvidia took care of that issue by providing first official mobile video driver GeForce 179 beta, bringing in better game and Windows Vista Aero performance over standard notebook video drivers.
Imagining my Sony Vaio laptop's video drivers which are several months old (well over a year actually) this certainly is good news.
