As you probably know computers hold a huge pile of all kinds of personal information, passwords, diaries, business secrets or simply our every-day routines such as what we do on the internet, what websites we visit and what programs we open most often. To get rid of these traces it is not enough to simply empty recycle bin or use CCleaner once in a while because there are so much more information in registry database where CCleaner and similar apps does not reach. Even empty space of hard drive where we used to store something personal and thought we erased it might very possibly not be empty at all.
DriveScrubber normally costs $20.97 US with special discount but here we are going to get it without cost.
Visit this website http://www.iolo.com/landing/?pid=78EB4EE2-B4D3-46F3-8F19-4C632DE602A0 and follow instructions.
Now all you have to do is to Download DriveScrubber from official page and register it.
In my opinion DriveScrubber is fantastic utility worth giving it a try.

I don't know if it is true... But using these Utilities in a rigorous fashion than required can damage the HDD leading to decreased HDD Life.
So to be on the safe side... Use them only when really needed.. ;)

File erasing in its nature is actually not erasing but overwriting. This means if you want to "erase" your folder of pictures, you tell DriveScrubber to overwrite it with let say letters "a" or letters "a" and "b" 100 times. Now, what makes you think this innocent letter could decrease hdd life cycle? Do not you write more than just "a" and "b" letters on your hard drive hundreds of times each day? Is your hard drive in danger because of that?
You would be right, if we were talking about solid-state drives. But hdd-s are not prone to wearing.
People are talking all kinds of things but in my opinion it is best to use your head and explore things a little before beliving anythink thay say.
I discussed this issue with my college IT profesor and he agreed on using this utilities is harmless.
:D
okie... I will do my home work next time... ;)
