Create your Unique Internet Home Page with customized logo

Yesterday I received one of many frequent Ashampoo marketing newsletters and though those are usually of not interest to me I was pleasantly surprised by its very content. Ashampoo announced me it has started offering a new funny and free service of creating your own web home page with text of your choice as a logo.

This unique home page is a bit different than iGo0gle or Netvibes for example as it does not allow you to add news content on front side but rather add a logo only which is by the way funny as well. Otherwise personalized welcome page uses G00GLE engine for fetching results which makes it even more appealing service to lay hands on.

Creation of your free personal welcome page can be found on this link. After you have created one for yourself just set it as your home page in Firefox or IE settings.

Is this personalized page actually made by google? If not, couldn't whoever is doing it get in trouble?

@tia
I am not sure if it is made by Google or Ashampoo, but it seems Ashampoo got into agreement with Google and therefore made custom Google page with Google search engine built-in and thus Ashampoo gets a share in $ whenever someone clicks ads via their Ashampoo-Google custom page. You can see similar approach with Comodo inc. and ask.com, where Comodo gets some profit while offering custom Comodo-Ask homepage.
Ashampoo is a reputable software company so I am sure it is perfectly legal.
