Review: Vixta Aero 3D Linux distro

Linux operating system contains over 500 different distributions and one of them is Vixta Aero, developed and maintained by independent community. Purpose of building Linux Vixta was obviously to create reliable Unix operating system with graphical interface imitating Vista Aero. So let's take a look at this distro and dive into Vixta.
linux vixta review
Vixta project started in 2007 and since than it has been released in multiple versions each time with different visual interface. I remember the first edition from a few years ago and I have to say it was fantastic, featuring transparency, Vista-like start menu, sidebar, window tab switching, transparent black-bordered window frames and more. Moreover, one of those cool things was and still is the ability of running full graphic effects without requiring discrete graphics card for transparent effects in contrast to Vista’s unresponsive and resource-hungry desktop window manager. A solid proof that Aero Glass effect could run without expensive discrete video card.

Original Vixta 3D edition has been now replaced with other new enhanced editions which do not look that much like Vista any longer but are still visual-reach Vixta Aero distributions.

@Clevo Repair
I hope it will. Personally I find the best Vixta to be the first version back from 2007. So when/if you decide to try Vixta, follow download links from official page and you will see many free Vixta editions for downloading, fruit of hard work and constant development of Linux Vixta. There you may choose to DL the oldest of newest Vixta ediiton.
