Free Windows XP Offline Update Tool with all accumulated updates

Updating Windows is a time consuming work which often takes hours to be fully completed and besides computer has to be connected to the Internet. One of the solutions in the past was to take advantage of Dakota Project an iso image which integrated all Windows XP updates including service packs. Unfortunately Microsoft did not like this and Dakota was discontinued but lately one of our readers Tejaswi pointed out to the similar program which does the same job without any limitations.

WinUp is a self-installed package available in 2 languages containing all Windows XP updates available up to now in one small program and does not need internet connection to do what is supposed to. Basically it contains accumulated updates which are automatically installed once you run WinUP. This saves a lot of time especially when you have multiple computers out of date.

Unfortunately WinUp requires Windows XP Service Pack 3 for proper installation but if you do not have it you can download it from the same author's page. So if what you need is a tool for installing all Windows XP updates offline this is exactly what you need.

Although this tool is perfectly legal we are probably all aware where and why it is most used, right!

You bet MS hates WinUp. After all it serves best for those, who did not really pay for XP. You know what I mean...

Is this tool will install all the update when i will reinstall Windows on my PC Because it takes too much time to reinstall all the update that You allready have but lost due to corruption of windows.

@smith
Yes this tool will install absolutely all Windows XP updates until now. Than you can periodically check with homepage for updated WinUp with new updates.
However WinUp requires Service Pack 3 to work properly so I suggest you to download SP 3 and install it on usb key. After fresh Windows reinstall, run SP 3 and after that WinUp. Therefore you will have all possible updates, no matter if you have (not)legal operating system.
