Windows temporary files are usually leftovers from previous installations of various applications or documents once needed by Windows to run certain task. These files can in a time grow large and take up to 1 GB of hard drive space if not deleted once in a while.

Disable 5% of remaining battery warning while using laptop under Windows 7

Windows has a smart predefined policy when it senses low level of battery in notebooks. In that case Windows is going to warn you when battery level on your laptop reaches 7% and automatically enters sleep mode while only 5% of battery capacity remains. The idea behind it is to prevent loss of data but while on some laptops 5% of remaining battery can hold for even 15 minutes, you may want to change or disable this settings.
